Need advice on first time pregnancy

Hello, My wife is 9 weeks pregnant. This is our first one after 3 years of trying. We are excited about it. I need advice on the do’s and don’t on this first trimester. Right now she’s taking multivitamins(includes folic acid) after lunch and prenatal milk(Anmum Materna) after dinner. Is there anymore supplements that she needs to take? During sleep, is it okay to lie on your stomach? Is there any preferred position? As this is our first baby, we are quite lost on what to do. Need some advice on this first trimester. #Needadvice #firsttimemom #firsttimedad

Congrats! For the supplements, doctors will advise her accordingly on what to take along the way. Just ensure she eats nutritious food. Since she is still in the 1st tri, just be prepared for the time where she loses her appetite. I managed to survive on yogurt, eggs, bread, mash potatoes, etc. I didn't really have proper meals and lost some weight due to that. But once she is in 2nd tri, the appetite will come back. Also, i highly recommend to buy her a pregnancy pillow. My hub bought from Momcozy. I love to sleep on my back. Since getting pregnant, i had to sleep on either left or right. It was uncomfortable and i had lack of sleep. Initially i thought it was unnecessary as i felt normal pillow works the same. But nope, it really helped me alotttt. My hub bought 1 for himself too. 😅 All the best!
