How to deal with a clingy baby

What to do when your 1yo baby is clingy, and won’t let you leave him? Will cry very loud when you try to leave the playpen. #advicepls

my boy is very clingy since birth until now at 7 mos. i baby wear if he is ok with it put in thr pram or high chair, and if not, i just order food for the day :)
