What can I do to help myself if I have a low-lying placenta?

There is no specific treatment for and most women with it will have the problem resolved by the third trimester because the placenta moves up with pregnancy. If it is really low, I would advise to avoid vaginal intercourse, head to the nearest A&E if there is any bleeding, more scans nearing the delivery date to check if the placenta has moved up, taking more high-iron foods like meat and dark green vegetables to build up your blood bank.
