Mommies out there, do you think is a must to engage confinement nanny?

Just want to understand why there is such a high recommendation for having a nanny since it only lighten your load for a month, but does not dismiss the fact that you still have a lifetime more to care for your child? Are there things i did not consider besides just having an helping hand to takecare of your baby only? I just don’t prefer having a stranger albeit experience person to care for my child. Would like to hear more perspective. #firsttimemom

For me, I need to recover my body back after delivering. This is very important for me, especially for the first two weeks at least. Don’t miss the golden period to recover back your health. Also, I don’t think my husband will be able to cope baby + house chores alone. Nobody will be cooking nourishing meals for me (because husband will be too tired). I can learn how to take care of a baby from the nanny from third week onwards while my husband learns during the first two weeks. If you have someone to take care of the baby, clean the house and cook for you, then you might not need a confinement nanny. It depends on your situation.
