Umbilical cord

Umbilical cord fell off 7 days ago and still has dried blood when cleaned. Baby was bath everyday after we came home by CL. Is there any concern? The cord was only 3cm. Got so short? Did the doc cut too short? Anyone has similar experience?

Had the same experience with my baby about the dried blood at the belly button after umbilical cord fell off. She just opened baby's belly button carefully and removed the dried blood then said it's nothing to worry about and won't hurt the baby. After few days belly button looks normal
