Can it be avoided?

Recently came across quite a few stories about how some mommies lost their babies at 5-6 month mark... So sorry to hear. Any idea what can be the causes and whether it can be avoided? Since it's supposed to be more stable from 2nd tri onwards... #worriedmomtobe
