If we take away exams, then what’s next? The issue here isn’t the exam but the rat race in life. Ppl will find new benchmark to differentiate abilities of the kids and new stresses will arise. PSLE doesn’t determine your life. Know your child’s ability and encourage them from there, and don’t put realistic expectations on them.

No need lah. Later they become stupid? Our time also not stressful what. PSLE helps with our academics, level by level. so we don't jump straight to level 10. just like playing games. level 1 first. now also secondary if fail can go up . too much alr

I think that tests are good if done moderately, merely just to test how much the kids know. But if the result that they achieve is use to decide their future, academic level, then it is not really. It creates pressure

I think it’s not about having it removed or not. It’s the approach towards the exam, the mindset that most of us have. “Stressful”. It also affects the kids greatly :/

Should just account daily school work and semester exams for past 6 years to gauge a child's progress and capabilities...

I think it can get quite stressful for a kid at the age of 12yrs old who have no idea the importance of exams yet

I think not. Students will still need to be assessed one way or another.

I dont think it needs to be removed entirely. Changes can be done.

When we had our psle we weren't stressed, neither were our family.
