Hi it depends on individual. My entire induction took me more than 48 hours which means the contractions lasted that long that makes it unbearable. You may want to consider pain relief like epidural to reduce the pain from contractions.

What kind of painful we are we talking about? U mean with epidural?

Induce labour is to help stimulates contractions but it can be painful which may ended with some taking epidural or other pain relief while in labour. But it also depends on individual pain tolerance level. Induce labour will be done if baby's at risk or youve past the EDD period.

Yes, induce labour can be very painful then normal.
