Advise needed on taking Epidurial

Hi Mummies, Need some help. Anyone who has taken epidurial right in the beginning of labor ? How was experience ? Is it better as compared to taking it late ? I will be going into labor soon hence need advise please. #firsttimemom #pleasehelp

It depends on your own comfort and pain tolerance. I requested it while being on laughing gas (sister here was high on gas to feel the contractions and epidural injections.) If you take it late, I’d rather you just do without it. The most intense pain is contractions compared to birth, so if you managed to tahan the contractions then just go without epidural. After epidural: Shiverings and vomiting.
