Mucus first tri

Hi mummies. This is my second pregnancy. I just had a discharge and its like mucus plug. Is it normal for 8 weeks pregnant ? Anyone experience it ?

If it is mucus plug, it will be in clear or off white with slight brownish/red. On the other hand, vaginal discharge would be light yellow or white.
