Formula milk
Hi mummies. I’m currently feeding Lo nan optipro. He seems to be okay with it been drinking since born. But his phlegm doesn’t seem to go away. Which formula milk do you recommend to switch to and do you have similar problems?
My baby has phlegm too and it’s worrisome. We switched from S26 to NaN optipro too. The phlegm is lesser but still here! Brought to PD but was told it’s normal, only to worry if baby has trouble breathing etc. Breastmilk is still the best according to the PD. But for now I just saline ,use the nasal aspirator and pat the back with a cupping motion. It helps to loosen the phlegm so the baby will vomit it out.
Read moreMy lo is also taking Nan optipro. Generally, formula milk will cause phlegm, according to my Pd. Maybe need to try out those samples formula milk to see which one causes lesser phlegm.
How old is your lo? U can try feeding water to him/her to help clear the phlegm (:
