Private and Public Hospital

Hi mummies I was thinking if anyone tried to go to private regular gynae for regular review and consultation and to kkh for tests to be done like the Oscar and Nipt test and there's a 20week trimester test I heard? Thinking it will be a more cost effective solution but not sure if doable. Currently in my 9 weeks. Thank u! #firstbaby #pleasehelp #advicepls #pregnancy #1stimemom #firstpregnancy

What I did was go polyclinic to get referral first. At Nuh I'm under subsidised. I'm upgrading to private patient in 3rd trimester. Week 26 now So far all my tests and scan done under subsidised. Consultation after subsidy 30 plus only. but nipt test still quite expensive at 900 plus. decided on nipt instead of Oscar just incase Oscar result no good I have to pay additional for nipt again. But if you already have preferred gynae at private gynae just go private all the way. I think your way not very cost saving but waste a lot of time and effort.
