Its gonna be my first pregnancy. What should i do now?

Hi mummies. I just had a positive test yesterday after a week late period. Its gonna be my first pregnancy. Clear blue digital says i’m 1-2 weeks but app say 5 weeks. Anyways, i’m not sure what to do now. Do i make an appointment at poly first or straight to hospital? If poly first, should i just book the normal doctor consult appointment or is there a specific type of appointment to book? And when should i book the appointment? All advice is appreciated. Congrats! Just go poly to confirm ur pregnancy & they will give u a referral letter. If u are eagle to see ur baby u can go private gynae which u can immediately to get see the baby. Btw Pregnancy start from the first day of menses that why is 5week in the apps.

CONGRATS!!! I’m also 5 weeks pregnant now toooo. Make an appt with Gynae, they need to check if it’s implanted into ur uterus correctly (rem to wear dress or at least a longer T-shirt to cover if ure shy) Den afterwhich, they will need to check on heartbeat.

Go poly get referral letter to get subsidy first. I went to NUH cause they have the best service be it subsidy or private. After my 5motnhs I switch to private. Save cost. I book private way before cause my gynae is always fully book

Go to polyclinic to get referral letter to kkh. First trimester no need to go private gynae. Can google or ask around friends for gynae recommendations.

Congratulations! If u go straight to hospital, you will be considered private patient. If u want to be subsidised, go to polyclinic to get referrals.

just make normal appt and tell the doctor that you're pregnant. then they will refer to kkh and set the next date for you. congrats
