Hi, yes it is absolutely normal to have ur period even though i are breastfeeding. It depends on ur body and everyone is different. It also depends on how often u are breastfeeding - but u may also want to note that breastfeeding at least abt 8 times a day is possiably a natural contraception - meaning u are not ovulating. Ovulation and menstration can become unrelated. When ur period comes during ur bf journey. U may experience a drop in supply for a couple of days (some people permanently). Just continue to drink more water, rest more, take more of ur milk boosters. First few periods may also not be the normal pattern of period which u are used to due to normal change and bodily adjustments
