Build up on nipple

Hi Mummies, I am 36 weeks pregnant and just realised that what I thought is my pregnancy nipple now is peelable and the tip has build ups which can be 'plucked out'. Is this normal? Also, I don't know to which extend I can remove the buildup but it seems like I can keep peeling the tip of my nipple as its very dried up. #1stimemom #firstbaby #advicepls #pregnancy

Yeah totally normal. It's your dried colostrum which happens in pregnancy. Talk to your gynae if you can start squeezing your breasts to collect the colostrum (to store in the freezer & to be fed to your NB when you've given birth).
