Ease Teething and clingyness

Hi mummies. Can anyone share how do u deal with your baby's teething? Like any gel u apply helped? Or whatsoever? My baby has been crying more often lately. Extra clingy to me, doesn't want anybody else. How can i help to ease her teething and open up to other family members? Im a working mother, despite my 8m old spending more time with MIL and helper she still wants me all the time whenever im home.
