Collecting colostrum

Hi mummies, anyone collecting colostrum before birth? Normally how much to bring to hospital? Will the nurse use it? I only so far manage to collect 5ml, wondering if worth bringing to hospital when due.

There are mummies collecting from week 37 but I would probably just wait after birth. Yes, the nurse will use. The nurses hand expressed for me and collected for baby then the next day I tried myself and hand it over to the nurses to store and feed in nursery. They returned me the excess as well.
