Baby sleeping in rocker?

Hey moms is it safe for baby to sleep in a rocker/Bouncer? I put my baby sleep in bouncer all the time but I wonder if it’s safe? #firstmom

I guess it depends on the shape of the rocker. If it’s curved at the back, the baby’s head may tilt forward, with the chin touching the chest, hence blocking the airway. My lo has slept in the traditional type of mesh rocker, with flat surface and big in size. It looks comfy to me.

Technically, it isn’t safe. Flat surfaces are the safest. But my Asian parents think those cloth mesh electric bouncer aka Baby lao yan helps baby sleep better. So if that’s the case, just monitor baby at all times to make sure baby is still breathing and not turning blue.

For me, i won't make her sleep on a rocker. Just felt as if the position isn't right. I prefer my baby to roam around on a mattress when she sleeps.

If you have doubts then either keep an eye on your baby regularly when she's sleeping in it or stop using it

Not safe and not good for their body development too. Should put baby in rocker for long period of time.

u mean those inclined ones, or yaolan?
