Hey there, mama! Congrats on your pregnancy and sorry to hear about your sore throat. It's always tough to deal with any kind of illness while pregnant. When it comes to safe throat lozenges during pregnancy, it's best to stick with those that contain natural ingredients like honey or lemon. You'll want to avoid any that have medications or additives that could be harmful to your baby. As for having a fever or dealing with COVID during pregnancy, it's definitely a concern for many moms-to-be. It's important to talk to your healthcare provider if you're feeling unwell, especially with the current situation at your workplace. They can provide you with the best advice based on your specific situation and help ease your worries about any potential risks to your baby. In the meantime, make sure to stay hydrated, get plenty of rest, and practice good hygiene to reduce your risk of getting sick. And don't hesitate to reach out to other moms for support - we're all here for each other! Take care and feel better soon, mama. https://invl.io/cll6she

Hello mommy! I just got covid last night and went to see a doctor today. Currently having fever, headache, sore throat and flu. For sore throat, I’m being prescribed Viocil Lozenges — 1 lozenges 3 times a day. It’s a purple lozenges. I have checked with my gynae this morning — it is better to see a GP doctor when you have covid and get pregnancy safe medication, eat vitamin C to build back your immune system and observe baby movement (only for those who can already feel baby movements — usually week 17-22 and above). It is not advisable not to eat any medicine. Please be extra caution because of pregnancy. Other than that, drink more water and sleep more to recover.

Thank you 🙏🏼

I’m also having sore throat. Doctor didn’t want to prescribe any lozenges. Just asked me to take normal Panadol if it is too painful. Gargling warm salt water actually helps for me.
