Considering on Hospital

Hi Mommies.. I have a bit of difficulties on choosing on which hosp for my check-up / giving birth. Between KKH & NUH. Can someone here help me please. Which hosp should I go? Feedback / Opinion for this two hosp. NUH or KKH? #pleasehelp #firstbaby #1stimemom #advicepls

For better experience, go for NUH. I’ve heard many positive feedbacks. Even if you go to private hospitals or any other hospitals, in the event there are complications with your pregnancy or after birth, most of the hospitals will ask you to go KKH as they are more experienced and are more equipped with everything. I always wanted to try NUH but am back with KKH for my 2nd pregnancy. You can try KKH then ask for a transfer to NUH if you want but do make a decision before end of 2nd trimester.

i chose NUH because my gynae is w NUH (private clinic) and its nearer to my house. :) kkh is too far. i think choose a hospital base on your convenience. because in case of emergency, it will be faster to reach. and heard third trimester will have to visit the gynae often. unless you are high risk pregnancy or suffering from any medical illness that causes ur pregnancy to have complications, go KKH.

I heard both hospital good. But still up to you. Your travel to hospital also plays apart right. Btw i tried both hospital. my #1 at kkh but unlucky me i had bad experience. Then #2 i tried NUH and goes well and fruitful. #3 at NUH too so pleasant and fruitful journey. So I'm sticking to NUH for #4 ❤️ 😂

i went with nuh bc my first ended with a miscarriage and the gynaes dont seem to care. i started bleeding early during pregnancy and when i visited KKH a&e, was sent home without any check. doc said probably period

I've had both of mine at NUH under Prof Chong YS. My first was a water birth there. I find the staff generally very polite and professional. They are also very supportive of natural births and breastfeeding.

I chose NUH at first but their appointments slots are too far away… they gave me my 1st appointment on my 16 weeks… so I decided to just go KKH with the first appointment on the 13 weeks …

I’m with NUH. Similar sentiments as other mummies who chose NUH. Had bad experience for both my miscarriages with kkh. This is my fourth pregnancy.
