Is there any difference in fresh milk and pregnancy milk?

Towards the end of her second trimester onwards, my friend started drinking Enfamama A+. Apparently, it's good for pregnancy and for future breastfeeding -- has all the important nutrients and vitamins in a milk drink. It comes in 2 flavours, vanilla and chocolate. Obviously my friend is a bigger fan of the chocolate flavour, she loves it! She also continued to drink normal pasteurized milk. I reckon the maternity milk is just a supplement, normal milk ought to be enough :)

Hi! So interesting! I've never heard of pregnancy milk. With regard to what type of milk to drink during pregnancy, here's an article with a great summary of the different types of milk and how it is beneficial during pregnancy. http://www.momjunction.com/articles/types-milk-can-consumed-pregnancy_0076537/ In general, most of my friends just drink regular or skimmed milk as per their normal diet.

I believe pregnancy milk would be better than fresh milk in the content. For example , Frisomum Gold, which is for both pregnant & lactating mum.
