Hepatitis B in Pregnancy - anyone with similar condition before?

Hi, I’m a Hepatitis B virus carrier and recently my dr informed that I have a high viral load. Since I’m pregnant, she advised for me to start on medications in my 3rd trimester, mainly to reduce transmission risk to the baby during delivery. Just wondering if any mummies have been in the same position before and how was your baby after delivery? #HEPATITIS #hepb #pregnancy

Visit a clinic and consult with your doctors if you need treatment to prevent further symptoms, usually carried out by specialists in gastroenterology. Not sure if I had the same condition but I got the 1st dose jab after birth. Then the 2nd dose (should be a mth later but polyclinic only had Sept dates earliest). Took the 2nd dose last Friday. I'll be going for my 3rd dose in March, a yr after birth. Then they'll do a blood test and if the result is not good I will have to take a booster.
