Sure you can go via subsidised route then switch to private later part of your pregnancy but do take note, some gynaes are mostly fully booked so you may want to research on your preferred gynae now. I remembered I was in my 2Nd trimester when I wanted to go private but my gynae was fully booked so I went subsidised all the way. I gave birth to my firstborn in Oct 2020.
