Cough & Phlegms

I'm 25 weeks pregnant and have been coughing although not so bad and having phlegms. Not sure if it's because of the cold weather nowadays (rainy season in SG)? If I see a dr, will I need to take a swab test? Or can I just do a safe natural home remedy?
