If you do tcm for fertility must you stop other treatments for fertility?

I don't think so. I had a friend who tried TCM while preparing for IVF. She had acupuncture every week and was given medication. Though she is not sure how much TCM contributed to her successful IVF attempt, she does feel more energetic and basically better after going through the TCM treatments. Just sharing her experience.

You can use TCM to "prepare" your body for IVF. Some TCM herbs and treatments can help with the successful implantation of embryo, which I believe is the most delicate part of IVF. But always best to discuss both treatments with the respective medical practitioners just so you don't cancel one treatment because of the other.
