First time got to know tht im pregnant

I went to check my pregnancy test at Polyclinic. They told me to talk the medicine.. 'something' fluid somehow like vitamins. But i did not collect it on that day . Is it okay to not consume it? Or do i have to ask again when on my next appt at KKH instead? #1stimemom #pleasehelp at Week 11 btw

Just inform the doc on your first check up at kkh that your are not in folic acid coz you didn’t take. The earlier you take folic acid the better. It’s is important for the development of baby’s spine and helps avoid brain defects. Some women who are ttc took it even before they are pregnant

Get it from polyclinic pharmacy.. it’s like $4ish. Eat well pls.

Pls do take the folic acid. It's very important for your baby. You can buy it off shelf at any pharmacy. Since you're already 11 weeks and almost into the 2nd trimester, take the folic acid now before your gynae gives you multivitamins/obimin/fish oil, etc to take at 13 weeks (normally).

Your appt in kkh will be some time later right as it's under subsidise route, I believe it is not any time near? Go to the pharmacy (Guardian, Watson, Unity, whichever is nearer to you) and buy the folic acid. It's less than $5-$6. Then eat 1 tab every morning.

you mean folic acid? its good for baby’s development (lowers risks of birth defects) and you should definitely ask the gynae at your kkh visit
