Marital Sex

Hi! My husband has not been wanting to have sex with me during my first trimester cause he was scared to hurt me or cause miscarriage. We’re moving to 13 weeks now. And he thinks he can put off sex for 7-8 more months till end of confinement. He assumed every couple was like that. Is it really???? #advicepls #firstmom

My husband and I were also afraid but we started getting intimate again during the second trimester and only stopped when I got too big nearing my labour 😅 it's one of the ways to promote contractions nearing your EDD and is encouraged! But after giving birth, you do what makes you feel comfortable and when you have fully healed.

My gynae said its actually okay to continue being intimate as long as you feel okay to do so (women will experience hormonal change during the early trimester period, which may make you less inclined towards intimacy).
