How to thaw frozen breastmilk

How do you usually thaw your frozen breastmilk? Do you leave it in a pale of water or move it to the fridge to thaw for few hours? And after thawed, within how many hours should it be consumed ? #firstbaby #advicepls

I usually thaw in a bowl of water or if urgent, run under running water. 24 hours if never touch saliva and kept in fridge. After you heat up, within 2 hours.

You can look up breastfeeding mothers' support group in fb. They have a panel of counsellors there for all breastfeeding related questions

Thaw in fridge. Normally it will be thawed in 12hrs so i calculate the timing i need to use. After thawed, need to consume within 24hrs.

I generally put some warm water in a bowl and thaw the frozen breast milk.

if urgent. put in a bowl of hot water.. if not.. thaw it in the fridge.
