How early can we be on HL before edd? Im having pelvic cramps and back pain and find it hard to walk long distance as my journey to work requires alot of walking. Sitting too long or standing too long in public transport is also not helping. Taking grab or taxis is gonna burn a hole in my pocket! 🥺😪 #1stimemom #advicepls

Ah sounds like me in january. I had terrible pelvic cramps and lightning crotch. I was already 35 weeks then. when i asked my gynae, she said she can only give me 1 week and i have to visit her to renew. So i went to work for the first two weeks of jan with excruciating pain (i am a teacher btw, you imagine the long standing hours and movement). On the 3rd week, i cldnt take it and asked for HL and made up my mind to ask for HL each time i visit her. I was on HL for 2 weeks and finally delivered on my 38th week. so it depends on your gynae.

Pelvic cramps and back pains are common symptoms during 3rd trimester. Is all depends on ur gynae, but overall is not easy to get HL if the doctors did not find any serious diagnosis in u. Else, can opt for early maternity as early as 1 mth before EDD. Wishing you the strength to overcome this period cus i gt the same issue but didnt manage to get my HL

Same here, I requested for one week's HL from my gynae which he kindly gave. By the way, I'm at 34+ weeks now. Just took a week of HL and then maybe later on top up with some annual leave that I carried over from last year.

it depends on whether ur gynae is willing to give..those symptoms are common ones tht almost all of us experience..bt u cn speak to yr gynae n see if he/she is willing to help. gd luck!

Have you tried to ask for work from home if your work allows? And i tink really depends on ur gynae yea

Explain your situation to gynae and see if he can issue HL to you.
