Preterm and low weight birth

Question

Hi, we just had a baby girl who was born 36+3 weeks with birth weight 2.25 kg. We have read and are concerned after reading about the higher risks of health and behavioural problems. Anyone had similar scenario and how did you cope and manage the situation? #firstbaby #1stimemom #advicepls

I have a girl who was born at 36 weeks and weighs 2.4kg. She's a healthy & very sensible 13 yrs old today! And her baby brother was born at 35+6 and weighs 2.79kg. My gynae and his PD says that he is considered fine as he was born at almost 36 weeks. A very active 4 mth old and he weighs almost 7kg now. Babies will lose a certain percentage of their weight the first month but will gain after that so don't worry and feed baby as demand.
