RSV Vaccine

Hello! My Gynae recommended 4 vaccines, including the new vaccine RSV vaccine, which is to be taken during 8-9months pregnant. Any idea if this vaccine is necessary? Care to share your opinions on it too? Thanks! Straits Times article: https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/mums-to-be-can-get-jab-from-nov-1-to-protect-babies-from-viral-respiratory-infection

I just asked my gynae about the RSV vaccine last week and shared my concern about it being such a new vaccine. he mentioned that it's not widely available yet, not even at KKH. personally, I didn't even take covid vaccine during pregnancy given that it's quite new.

Ohh I'm currently about 4 months pregnant so my Gynae mentioned it as it is recommended to be taken during 8-9 months pregnant. Seems like not many mummies know about it. According to news, KKH should have the vaccine from Nov 1..

I never take. I only take the necessary ones like whooping cough vaccine and another one. My lo 13 months now never gotten rsv or such
