Do we need to off uv sterilizer

Ftm here. Noted that after washing bottles, we would need to dry & sterilize them. For uv sterilizer, once we have done with the sterilizing cycle, if we choose to leave it inside the sterilizer, can we plug off the sterilizer or need to leave it on as long as we store it ? #firsttimemom #advicepls
