Expressed breastmilk when going out

FTM, in the event we dont intend to bf our baby when going out.1. how do we prepare expressed milk when going out.2. How long does expressed bm last in cooler bag with reusable ice packs? 3. If we take our previously chilled bm from fridge and  put in cooler bag with ice packs, how long will it last? #firstbaby #advicepls

1. Just defrost or chill any EBM in the fridge. 2,3. Mostly 4-6 hours depending on what brands of insulator bags you’re using. If you’re saying you pumped outside, I usually just leave it in insulator bag regardless of chilled or not if I will be heading home within 3/3.5 hours. Once home, chill or freeze immediately. Or you can just feed baby the freshly expressed milk.
