Gynae recommendations

#firsttimemom at 6W, just completed first gynae visit but not really vibing with the doctor (felt that the doc charged a huge markup on tests). Any recommendations for a patient female doctor who’s willing to answer questions, and will act in patient’s best interest? Thanks!

Sorry just curious. Why the need for “tests” at 6 weeks? Are you referring to the routine scan?

Apologies when I recall my experience further, yes blood works were required to test for hep B, HIV, high blood, Thalassaemia etc. I think there is more to a gynae - his/ her reputation and skills (based on word of mouth - see their Google reviews) as compared to the cost of routine Bloodwork. So please consider other factors

If you can’t help out a first time mom, don’t comment nonsense or anything okay. It’s really embarrassing that your daughters have a mother like this 😓
