Flagystatin for yeast infection treatment

Hi, doctor issued flagystatin for 10 days due to some curd like white discharge which was yet proven to be an infection (pending swab result). She said that it would be safe for the baby but the instructional sheet from the manufacturer says it should be avoided and should not be used in first trimester. Still worrying on the safety of using it. Would anyone share their experience of using flagystatin during first trimester? #pleasehelp #1stimemom
