Alcohol in food

Did not know japanese sauces (e g. Ponzu and gomatare sauce) had mirin (14% alcohol) in it. Had it quite a few times during pregnancy. Understand that alcohol is reduced when cooked but the sauces i had was uncooked. Any fellow mummies had it during their pregnancy b4 too? Should i be concerned about baby taking in the alcohol?

Oh, don't worry too much about it! Many of us may have unknowingly consumed alcohol in food during pregnancy. The good news is that the alcohol content in these sauces is usually reduced when cooked, so the amount that actually reaches your baby is very minimal. However, if you're still concerned, you can always talk to your healthcare provider for reassurance. Just remember to be more mindful of ingredients in the future and enjoy your pregnancy journey! https://invl.io/cll6she
