Books are like old friends really and so should be part of the surrounding environment in a visual sense.

Bring them to the library once a week and let them borrow the books they want without restricting them.

I always read it out to them with expressions. And purposely choose coloured and picture books

I will do story reading for them every night before sleeping :)

If parents don't read, it's difficult to expect that from kids
