Covid-19 positive

Caught the dreaded Covid19 at week 36. Now admitted in KKH. Is there any chance to recover & go home? I heard if you are still positive most probably you won't be allowed to go home. Worse is getting into labour without seeing your spouse.

I caught it at week 33 and was on hrp throughout the week. Doctor from MOH gave a tele consultation with me on day three and top up my medications as the first GP I seen only gave me two days worth of lozenges n flu tablet. On day seven, the tele doctor called me again to check if I am feeling much better and proceeded to issue a recovery memo when I told her my ART kit shows negative. Throughout the whole week I avoided taking Panadol n keep hydrated n rest more.

Same. And i am week 28

MOH protocol for preg mums on hrp is now less than week 36. if not, u need to be tested negative till u can be cleared out of isolation ward in kkh. they will observe and help u out if u have delivery signs in kkh isolation ward with the other ladies also in isolation. spouse unable to watch delivery if COVID-19 positive patient during delivery.

if baby delivered and checked to be non covid 19 with negative art and not yet cleared as negative art for mum, they will separate baby and mum unless u request and insist on being warded tgt, with other positive cases of prg ladies in isolation ward.

Super Mum

Yeah I think the protocol for women more than 26 weeks pregnant is to be in the hospital until you recover. Hang in there. Jia you!
