5 week old not pooping

Question

My boy is on formula and breast milk (more formula milk) and has not pooped for 4 days. He has been passing gas, fart is very smelly. When we change diapers, there is light stain of poop near the anus. When doctor gave suppository, the stool is not hard. Doctor gave me a few to insert if my boy cannot pass motion again. Any advise? Tried massage, bicycle kicks, I love you massage etc, still not helping. #1stimemom #advicepls #firstbaby #pleasehelp

Hi mummy. The formula milk is most likely not suitable for him. Try switching to other brand. When I started to introduce my son to formula milk, it took us awhile to find him a brand that doesn't cause him constipation. Also they have to drink more water when they drink formula milk and increase their fiber intake.
