Baby carrier hip seat

Is it advisable to avoid hip seat baby carriers? Why? Did i just waste my money.....? I intend to use my bebear with detachable hip seat when LO turns 6mo. When is the best time (baby's age) to use hip seat?

depends on ur LO and ur preferences. my friend’s LO screams when she put baby down, so they carry a lot using hip seat carrier. best to use when 2-3 months old onwards?
