As per my Doctor, sinusukat nila ang amniotic fluid gamit ang ultrasound, at tinitingnan ang Amniotic Fluid Index (AFI) o Single Deepest Pocket (SDP). Tinatawag itong normohydramnios kapag nasa tamang range ang mga sukat.
Usually, ang AFI ay between 8 to 18 cm para masabing normohydramnios, at para sa SDP, between 2 to 8 cm. Ibig sabihin, nakakakuha ng tamang amount ng fluid ang baby mo, which is essential for their health.
