FTM - 38 Weeks

38 weeks today. Had my cervix checked yesterday and unfortunately, still thick with no signs of dilation. Want my baby to come out soon, but at the same time, afraid to go through delivery. #firstmom #firstchild #delivery

Yeap my doctor did a membrane swipe when they checked my cervix didn’t show any sign of opening and I gave birth few days later. If not they wanted to induce me actually. I think the swipe actually helps alot!

Is the membrane swipe uncomfortable?

Doctor should do membrane swipe to quicken the cervix dilation. mine did at 37 weeks 5 days and 2 days later I delivered.

I was 0cm dilated and gynae did a membrane sweep on me 09/10 5pm. Hoping to go in labour within this 48hrs.
