to be honest there is no best time because it depends on individual.. if go early, can detect if pregnancy is normal, if abnormal easier to get go.. although going early also mean there may or may not be a visible sac to be seen.. if the above are not your concern and you just hope to see something then week 8 (4 weeks after your missed period) is the safest to see it, but must remember to take folic acid daily.. usually week 12 onwards will change to multivitamin

What is the ideal folic acid dosage to consume?

Best is after 8 weeks but this also means you must be accurate with your cycle. Because the edd is only accurate after 8weeks. I went for my first at 7 week thinking i was 8 week pregnant, could see baby’s heart beating and stuff. But the edd they won’t be able to tell you. So I had to go back again in two weeks time. Haha

i went to the gynae when i was 5 weeks, can only see empty sac 😅 i was very worried back then. Gynae asked me to come back 2 weeks later. So i went back at week 7, can see the yolk sac, fetal pole and hear the heart beat already. I think best is to see gynae after 7 weeks to avoid unnecessary worry 😅

7-8 wks is a good time. Went at week 5 when i was preg, but was too early hence unable to detect. (Was my supposed week 7 based on LMP) Got me pretty worried 😂 Depends on private or public route too. Public route heard that it’s better to go poly asap to get referral date!

I went at 6w , need to have a peace of mind by knowing it is not ectopic pregnancy. location is utmost importance, if can see heartbeat fetal pole these are bonus. I'm sorry I'm cautiously pessimistic due to my recent loss. so it really depends on where you stand.

for me will be after 6 wks when i can expect to see something by then..any earlier thr might be a chance whr thrs no heartbeat or what and that will make me daammnnn anxious and stressed!

atleast 8 weeks, anything before that you might not see anything or hear any heartbeats .. it will then be a wasted trip, so I'd suggest see a gynae at between 8 - 10 weeks .. :)

Best is to book an appt when you are about 7weeks and above. Thats where you can hear your baby's heartbeat, scan and see the little one in you. Congrats!
