11 Month Old Prefer Solids

My 11 month old can eat a decent amount of solids twice a day, but each time he drinks less than 100ml of BM or FM. Do some baby at 1YO no longer require much milk and just take solids? #1stimemom

My LO hates drinking his milk. It’s so difficult to make him drink. I did ask a PD about it. They say it is okay if baby don’t want to drink milk. You can include food that has higher calcium into his meals. However, I still feed my baby milk 5 times a day. I normally prepare for him 160ml. But I will leave it up to him on how much he wants to drink. Sometimes he can finish 160, sometimes just 20. But it’s okay!

milk is still better than solid. my baby can take 200ml per meal 2 time a day from 1yo to about 15 16 month. she suddenly don't want to drink milk again. from 180ml drop to 100ml. but she still drinks 3 hourly at night. I will still insist on giving milk because it has alot of nutrients baby need.

At 11 months old , baby needs milk as it has the nutrients . Later when he is 1 year old , u can cut down his milk intake ..but not now

its better to balance the solids and bm or fm. Make sure to give fibre and water as well so he won't have constipation

Milk still required but is a supplement to solids!
