Pregnancy

You can eat popcorn in moderation while pregnant. It has very little to no nutrition and is high in calories. It can easily lead to maternal obesity. Commercially bought popcorn is usually produced using artificial flavours, making it unfit for expecting women and harmful for your baby's neural development.

Postpartum

If you are craving popcorn, make sure to limit your intake, especially during the postpartum period. Popcorn has limited nutrients and the artificial flavours don't make it a healthy snack for you.

Breastfeeding

The artificial flavours and colours in popcorn make it an unhealthy snack. It can affect the quality of your breast milk. It's okay to indulge in it rarely.

Baby

Popcorn is not suitable for babies under the age of 11 months.
