Pregnant women should avoid eating chili. It can cause heartburn, constipation and even hemorrhoids. In severe cases, it can also lead to uterine contractions, premature birth, and even miscarriage.
Stay away from chili during your postpartum period. Eating chili might upset your stomach and cause problems such as constipation. It may even cause infection or inflammation. It is not beneficial for postpartum recovery.
Breastfeeding mummies should avoid eating chilli. It may cause skin and stomach irritation in your baby via your breast milk. You might experience digestive issues and heartburn, too.
Chili is not suitable for babies under the age of 11 months.
