Humidifier Use In Sg

If u use a humidifier at home (in Sg), especially for kids who are always coughing, does it help? Would the room be too humid and end up sweating?

Singapore is pretty humid already (sometimes even up to 97% humidity), so if you leave the windows open and turn on the fan, there’s no need for a humidifier. Stay away from aircon, which dries the air + the cold air will irritate your child’s throat and worsen the cough

So the trick is to open the window!

I use a humidifier but in air con room, it's fine. Haven't tried it in non air con room but in SG the humidity is already quite high.
