4mths old baby fussy in drinking milk
My LO is now 4 months and he is fussy in drinking milk. we are changed from feeding 120ml to 150ml / 3hrs recently as we know most of baby now should be fed 150ml. However, my baby sometimes cannot even finish 120ml and it takes a long time for him to drink. We did not change the formula milk brand as well, and are unsure why is he behaving like this for about 1week +. He recently have stuffy nose and flu. could that be the reason why he finds it uncomfortable to drink? Im worried that he is not taking in enough milk as per his age, at 4mths now, compared to the guidelines and other baby.
LO sleeping through the night, do I need to wake him up and feed?
My LO has been sleeping through the night since he was 2 months old and he's turning 4 mth next week. I still wake him up to feed despite him sleeping soundly as I thought babies should still be fed at night even though we can drag the interval to 4/5hours instead of 3hours. What are your thoughts about this? Shall I stop this routine if my LO is sleeping through the night and only feeds him after he is awake? eg, sleeping from 10pm to 6am
LO 3 months not drinking milk in IFC
this is the 2nd time the IFC teacher feedback to us that our LO is not drinking his milk properly in school. previously no issues in school and we did not change his milk or make any adjustment to his feeding. We even change the milk teat to medium flow few days ago. Just now, he drank 20ml for 2 feeding times at 3h interval. Afterwards he drank the full 120ml. So I don't know what is the issue and feeling a little lost and down that my LO is not having a proper milk intake twice. Please advise.
