It is all written and was signed by the health care professional in the mother’s book of the pregnant woman. 📌Get your laboratory work ups done- Certain lab tests are part of routine care during pregnancy. Some of these tests are done with a blood sample. Others use a urine sample or a sample of tissue taken from your vagina, cervix, or rectum. These tests can help find conditions that may increase the risk of complications for you and your fetus. 📌Free Pregnancy supplement in Barangay Health Center- Start taking follic acid and ferrous sulfate regularly. This will reduce your risk of birth defects of the brain and spine. A folic acid vitamin is the best and most efficient way to ensure you’re getting enough in your diet. 📌Stop Smoking/drinking alcohol Smoking during pregnancy increases the risk of health problems for developing babies, including preterm birth, low birth weight, birth defects such as cleft lip and palate. Smoking during and after pregnancy also increases the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome(SIDS). 📌Have a healthy diet and moderate exercise -eat nutritious foods such as fruits and vegetables. It has nutrients that strengthens your body and your immune system.
