I was prescribed progesterone again. Progesterone is like the "pregnancy support system" that helps create the best environment for the baby to grow. For some of us, our bodies might not produce enough progesterone, which can increase the risk of miscarriage or other complications. Ako kasi during my 1st trimester I had a slight bleeding so I was advised to be on bed rest and to take progesterone. Naging okay naman ulit lahat until recently I always experience contractions na medyo malakas considering na 19-20 weeks pa lang ako, fortunately wala namang bleeding. So my doctor told me to take progesterone again. By giving progesterone supplements, doctors make sure the body has enough of this important hormone to help protect and sustain the pregnancy.
